Summer Institute on The Science and Economics of Climate Change

The Dalhousie University Summer Institute introduces the course “The Science and Economics of Climate Change”. This integrated course uses scientific and economic analysis to identify and analyze the dimensions of climate change and the range of feasible societal responses.
Courses:
The course is a full credit offering equivalent to two one-semester courses. Students may register for the course as Economics 2850.06 or Physics 2850.06. Students do not need to have a Physics, Economics or Calculus background to register. Knowledge of simple algebra and use of graphical analysis is recommended.
Fee:
The fee for the course for international students is C$5000. This amount includes housing but not food or other living expenses outside of housing. It does include the international student differential fee, regular tuition, incidental fees payable by summer students and social events (as listed in the link shown below) that are not shown as optional.
The course is subject to cancellation if enrolment is not deemed large enough by the closing date for international students from outside Canada.
